Prerequisite:

If you meet any one of the following requirements you are eligible to apply for the PGCP enrolment:

- A Bachelor Degree with Psychology 1, 2 and 3 from any accredited tertiary institution in South Africa completed no more than 10 years ago.

- An Honours Degree in Psychology from any accredited tertiary institution in South Africa.

- A Masters or PhD from any accredited tertiary institution in South Africa.

BA

If you meet any one of the following requirements you are eligible to apply for BA degree enrolment:

- A valid National Senior Certificate with admission for Bachelor Degree purposes must be submitted that adheres to specific NSC requirements for BA Degree admission as set out in the table below. Submit your certificate with your final grade 12 results. For more information about Specific ICP Minimum NSC Requirements for BA Degree Admission, consult the Prospectus.

- A valid South African Senior Certificate with exemption/endorsement with English (HG/1st Language: E / SG: D) and Mathematics (HG: E / SG: D).

B PSYCH

B Psych Phase 1 (Years 1 – 3):

B Psych Phase 2 (Years 4 -5):

If you meet any one of the following requirements you are eligible to apply for B Psych Phase 2 enrolment:

- Successful completion of ICP B Psych years 1-3 within the last 10 years with a minimum average of 60% in the subjects Psychology and Christian Psychology 3.

- ICP BA degree with Psychology 1, 2 and 3, and a minimum average of 60% achieved in the subjects Psychology and Christian Psychology 3. The degree should have been completed in the last 10 years.

- A Bachelor’s degree with Psychology 1, 2 and 3 from any accredited tertiary institution in South Africa. A minimum average of 60% achieved in Psychology 3 is required. The degree should have been completed in the last 10 years. Abnormal Psychology on 3rd year level is compulsory. NOTE: If you are selected for the B Psych Phase 2 programme you will need to complete the following additional subjects: Christian Psychology 1C, 2C, 2D, 3C and Psychology 3D.

- A BTh degree from any accredited tertiary institution in South Africa with ICP Psychology 1, 2 and 3, and a minimum average of 60% achieved in the subjects Psychology and Christian Psychology 3. The degree should have been completed in the last 10 years.

- A BTh degree with Psychology 1, 2 & 3 from any accredited tertiary institution in South Africa and a minimum average of 60% achieved in the subject Psychology 3. The degree should have been completed in the last 10 years. Abnormal Psychology on 3rd year level is compulsory.
